    Had me some pretty good Dace fishing on the Barrow in Carlow town last weekend (15lb), well worth a visit if you can manage it.
    also a few large bream showed up (7 - 8lb's). Highly recommended !

    where else can you get dace in ireland-cappoquinn is one i believe?

    You'll get a gansey load on the Blackwater in Fermoy, and at other various stretches on the blackwater. Great bit of sport on Light tackle.
