I fried my athlon Palomino 2100+. When a bit of paper stopped the fan and I did not notice. So I have to buy a new processor and I checked the Asus site and it says the highest for my motherboard is a "Athlon XP 2400+ (Model 8)". Is that a thoroughbred?

I think it is as the other xp mentioned on the Asus site is a model 6 so I assumed that is a Palomino.

    Regards

    Deu
