The Designers Guild of Ireland has finally recovered from it's last social and we're ready to party again! (Oh, and discuss the future of design in Ireland of course!) Besides, you've all been working far too hard lately and need a great night out.

    The what now?
    When? 8.30pm Thursday 14 June 2003 (the bar's open till 2.45am)
Where? upstairs in 4 Dame Lane
How much? like the best things in life - it's free!

We want to do a show of what everyone is working on at the moment but some of the guild are a bit shy so we have decided to do it anonymously. What we want you to do is bring along some recent work you are proud of, drop it into a big box as you come in (brown envelopes welcome) and we will lay it all out on a table during the evening (we're tryng to see if we can hang it up) for everyone to enjoy and discuss. If you need any more details don’t hesitate to contact us.

Hope to see you all there.

    The DGI

Sounds deadly. It's nice to know someone's doing something like this. Just back from Scandinavia where everything's sorted. Like that Svenskform. Hopefully I'll be able to attend this time.

PS: I am not a graphic designer.

What kinda **** do they want in? - Corprate / personal, Design only or is photography, illustration also acceptable?

Will some sized down a4 print of something cut it?

You dont have to be in a guild or to be a designer. you just need an interest in design :).

    All kind of work welcome.
