In the space of twenty minutes i got a call from a minister asking had i got broadband or not, advised i hadnt, then got an e-mail from comreg saying the product manager in eircom will be ringing me to explain the situation, I hope by that quote they mean theyve solved there cockup, cause if he comes on and still says its failed even after it has passed previously i dont think i could contain myself

    Regards

    Shin

Am I missing something here? if your line fails is it not down to eircom to resolve the problem as they own the line and are responsible for the failure?

    Jayzus Shin.

Please tell me how come you have a minister, comreg and an eircom product manager at your beck and call?

    How did you manage that?

PS Would you put in a word for me with your 3 Amigo's?

    shinzon,

Have you complained to comreg about your line or tried to get a reduction in your line rental due to it being substandard, also what reason did eircom give for your line failing the adsl test?

SkepticOne's point is that it couldn't be a Labour Minister, since the current Government (and so the Cabinet) is made up of Fianna Fail and the Progressive Democrats. Could be a Shadow Minister of course, but they only think they're Ministers. :)

Come on! Who called Shin and pretended to be a Labour Minister?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,463 ✭✭✭shinzon

Im sorry but i cant post the ministers name who rang me, id get into real trouble for posting it if i did, suffice to say hes looking after my interest, just look what happened yesterday, within 10 mins of him ringing off i get a mail from comreg saying its been escalated to the product manager of eircom, now that is some going.

Im not trying to keep anyone in the dark here or playing games with you all, trust me on this

Shinzon, read what has been posted, or failing that look at the newspaper :)

    Labour are not in power.

    No Labour minister rang you.

Either a FF Minister rang you or a Labour T.D. rang you.

    Or your telling porkies.
