    Hi

I was wondering if anyone here knows of an Irish based company with servers actually located in Ireland that provide shell accounts,

Nothing fancy, some web space, mail and irc.

    Thanks in advance

    Emboss.

I'd rather get hosted by a friend though. 20 gig quota, T1 line, Free :)

I use to be in the shell account business a couple of years back here is a list of the top providers might come in handy.

    UK Shells - expensive

    www.ukshells.co.uk

Lomag - Very good prices - you must fax credit card copy

    www.lomag.net

Jeah - based on foonet - the proteched part of httpd.net - killer speeds

    www.jeah.net

Sharpnet - easy to signup also on foonet.

if you're a graduate of any of the netsoc'd universities you should be able to get an account from them.

UCD offer mail/webspace/irc/rbash/jail'd shell on request. Slightly unreliable service cause they're student bumbs but it's only 5 or so euro a year.

(not on the committee, not an advertisment, just fond of them :))
