    FYI

    The Jimmy Cake
    with The Tycho Brahe
    and Jeff Martin

    The Village
    Saturday 24th May
    Doors: 8.30pm
    Tickets: €10.00
    Telephone: 475 8555

It’s Year 3 for The Jimmy Cake and the band are solid
in their position as the ones to see this summer -
playing Witness, Roundstone Arts Week and Spraoi.
Through a combination of word of mouth
    recommendations, excellent individual energy and
enthusiasm and putting on a damn good gig The Jimmy
Cake are attracting sell-out audiences and, the
    predictable, (dubious) record company interest.

The band have been recording their new mini-album
which will include 3 epic new tracks and a choral
reworking of something a little more familiar.

This is their last Dublin show for quite a while so if you want to catch them - nows the time to do so.

    The Jimmy Cake are:
Lisa Carey, clarinet; Jurgen Simpson, accordion; Paul
Smyth, keyboard; Diarmuid Dermody, saxophone and
drums; John Brown, trumpet, banjo; Simon O’Connor,
guitar; Vincent Dermody, guitar; Dara Higgins, bass,
    John Dermody, drums
