    im being emailed once every 30 odd mins from

    support@micrsoft.com

    with a 60-70k attachement of varying filename, but always with extension .pif

    ive set a filter to it and now goes directly to trash (eircom webmail).

    anyone else getting this ?

    latest virus explosion. Sharon will have it on the news tonight I suspect.

    as virii go it doesnt do anything radical ......

    OE6 users probably won't see it, .pif attachments are hidden

    got via my pop3 collection. scanned and it picked it up. surely nobdoy stupid enough to be opening these emails now.

    Yea got this the other day in my hotmail.. I was wonderin what it was, hotmail didn't notice it as a virus, neither did my norton when I saved it on desktop, didn't open it though

    Might need to update your Norton signature Lenny - mine went gaga as soon as the attachment arrived on my machine yesterday

    Tried to do a scan there, my norton av is ****ed.
    keep getting error messages when i try to scan,
    I think its cause I did a repair on w2k there last week, and some programs had to be reinstalled.

    that prob has to do with your settings, like using huerestics and that

    i swear by it, never left me down yet....
