On one of the first shows of the series Glen Hansard plays a song that contains some lines from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory anyone know the name of the song??? Or does this song even exist or was it just some improv on glens part??

The song was Star Star of the album dance the devil but the charlie and the chocolate factory lines were an improv in that particular show.
Thanks joe for giving me the excuse to post my 500th post

Its "Pure Imagination" from Willy Wonka. Its now a standard feature of the Frames' live version of Star Star.

    The Snozberries taste like Snozberries.

They have the same little bit of "Pure Imagination" in the song "Dance the Devil back into his Hole". It's only recently that they started to put it into "Star Star". The recording from "Set List" was probably the first time. "Star Star" always has something in the middle of it and they're always changing it around.
