Mis-typed cd key?

Hey,

I have an offical cd key but it still gives me this when i try and join.
The q3key file says my offical one but i used to use the 3333333 etc. Would that have anything to do with it?

its probably a punkbuster problem.. is it an OSP server? try deleting the q3key file from q3/baseq3 dir and q3/osp dir and re-entering when prompted.

2 things worked for me ...

1st was as said above - find the cdkey file in all the folders and
rename it to something - this worked until I reinstalled my OS
and everything then it didn't work next time - but I found that if I loaded my servers from the main menu and not by loading the mod then selecting the server it would enter every time....
... ok ya you have to then exec your cfg but so what - works

I find that when trying to connect to an osp server sometimes.
If I go to mods and load the appropriate mod then when i try connect the message is gone.
