    Any ever use this application?

I'm just after stumbling across it.

yeah, its a handy way of getting chipset drivers onto your machine. Should speedup ide performance a bit if you are currently using windows default drivers.

So basically get the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility to make sure that you are using the right chipset and then install the Intel Application Accelerator to optimize the IDE drivers?

    Have you used it?

I just used the separate drivers to be honest, and it worked fine, out of curiosity today I installed the application accelerator, haven't rebooted yet though.
