Problems with my email since getting DSL

I got Netsource's DSL during the week and since then my 2 email software - Opera & Outlook Express - both give me the same error message when I try to send an email. I can receive emails no problem. I have an 'eircom.net' email address, which may be the source of the problem. I don't have any other email address to check to seeif that would work. The error message is:

Recipient error [553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)]

Any body know what this means? Thanks

Are you using mail.netsource.ie as your outgoing mail server?

You won't be able to use the eircom mail servers for outgoing mail when connected to netsource.

Because ISPs usually only let people connected through their network send mail through their servers.

The alternative is to separate your email from your ISP. Not an obvious choice, as ISPs tend to give out email addresses with signup, but in the long term, I believe it's worth doing. It makes changing ISP a whole lot less hassle.
