Chorus basic package

    Can anyone tell me what channels come on the basic Chorus package other than,

    BBC1, BBC2, UTV, C4, TV3, SKY1, SKYnews

    is there something about a kids channel in the morning, then it changes into something else in the afternoon and then something else in the evening, are there 3 of those channels?

    Its Nickeoldeon(sp?) in the morning and then the Cartoon Network for the rest of the day.

    TV5, RTE One, N2, TG4 (all the irish ones by law), CNBC?, Eurosport? (unless they lost that to sky like NTL), MTV and euromix?

    MTV and TV5 anyway.

    Seems to be that it depends on where you are as to what channels you get. I'm in Portlaoise and we're on the basic package and we get

    RTE 1
    Network 2
    TV3
    TG4
    BBC 1
    BBC 2
    UTV
    Channel 4
    Sky One
    Sky News
    Eurosport
    Cartoon Network
    MTV
    Discovery Channel

    and just the other day we got a thing in the post from Chorus saying that they have just added E4 and attheraces to the line up for free. Though, to be honest, they're pretty crap anyway. attheraces shows horse racing all the time (except at night when they show the usual home shopping crap) and E4 just shows repeats of stuff that's been on Channel 4 like Friends, ER, Graham Norton, etc.

    Now, this is something I'd like to find out if anybody knows. It said on this leaflet we got that the package should also include Sky Premier and Sky Sports 1 as standard. Now, we can get it but it's just fuzzy and in black and white. However, occasionally we will have it properly. This tends to happen some weekends when it's like Chorus are giving it to us to have a look at and then it goes back again. But, as I said, according to this leaflet we are supposed to have it as standard, not switched on occasionally to tease us for a couple of days. Anyone know what the story is there? Would ringing Chorus be of any help as we've had to ring them before and they were the most useless shower of gob****es I've ever come across and I don't want to have to go through that again unless it might make some kind of difference.
