Dan Electro pedals

Has anyone tried any of the new Dan-Electro pedals? I got the chorus for only €65. At first I could not get any sound out of it that didn't make my girlfriend puke, but after turning everything down to nearly nothing, I have a fairly reasonable sound. Well actually I always thought chorus was the 2nd most abused effect ( wah and distortion in joint 1st ).

But anyway, back to my point: any experiences with the new Dan-Electro stuff?

Dan Electro have always been dodgy, some pedals work great, some sound like muck!

In a Chorus Pedal Review i read the Danelectro "Cool Cat" got a good rating but they said basicly the same as Giblet, the one they got worked and it was ok. Overall they said a good starting pedal.

    They Said
    the
    Marshall SV-1 "Supervibe"
Was a good low buget alternative to the "Uni-Vibe"

    The
    Ibanez Tone Lok CF-7 Chorus/Flanger
Was another good one because of price and functionality

    And the winner was
    Jim Dunlop "Uni-Vibe"
They said its the absoulte best by far but you'll pay for it.

(On another note, I've been told that Morley make the best Wah pedals)

I think every effect will be a personal taste thing tho

Their wah pedal is great, six different wah sounds some of them are really nice.

Haven't really used any of their other effects I generally just buy boss when I'm getting effects, can't go wrong with them.

The Boss CE-5 is a class pedal. I had one for about two years. It's perfect for pretty much every type of chorus you want. Way better than the (very) dodgy Danelectro ones.
The 2x2 stereo chorus in the Boss GT-6 is the mutts nutts though.
Best chorus I've ever had the pleasure of using.

I don't think Boss are "that" good, but there defenitly a good standard and relyable.

looking back through Total Guitars I saw the Ibanez one. Can't remember the name but it got rated very well indeed. Worth checking out I'd say.
