Ok, I have no screenshots and no idea what this game was.

It was in Waterford Bowling alley in the early 90's.

A bit like chase HQ but a sit in cab, you drove, I think a yellow sportscar, don't recal if you had to bash into another car like chase hq, I think perhaps you do, but it's main distinguishing feature for me was the fact that the motorbike guys came along I think and jumped onto your car and you steered sharply to throw them off.

Thought I saw it in another arcade another time and although I can't remember the name, I recal it having a number, like XYZGame 5 or 6 and I recal thinking, bloody hell there were 5 of 6 of these. That might be a red herring thoughas it may not have been the original cab.

    Any idea's ?

I think I know the Chase HQ clone your talking about. I don't know the name but I used play it a bit. One of the cops would hang out of the window and you could shoot at the cars ahead, a helicopter would airlift a rocket launcher to you also during the 'boss battles'.

The end battles were more epic than Chase HQ because you'd face a whole gang. One of the levels had you chasing a van driver and there would be loads of guys on motorbikes trying to take you out behind him.

Graphics were a bit ropey but you could crash through windows and drive through shops so it was alot of fun.

That reminds me, does anybody remember a racing game where you drive a golf caddy around a golf course running people over and ramping off sand bunkers? I used play it in kilkee.

The game your talking about Blitz_molloy is Chase HQ 2 more commonly known as SCI by most people. It could also be Super Chase also by Taito or Lucky & Wild from Namco.

[edit] That golf caddy game you mention seems at bit mad:) What system was it on?[/edit]

The car in SCI wasn't yellow was it? I seem to remember it being wine coloured or something similar?

Thats not it. I am pretty sure that you didn't shoot in this game, you rammed. The motorbike guys were there at the end of every level around the main bad guy you had to ram.

ChaseHQ and SCI (ChaseHQ2 as it was sometimes known) were both in the same arcade at the same time as this one. (although this one was a sit down, the chase HQ's were stand ups.
