So whos gonna win tonight? The Allstars or the Italian champions.
The first match was a close encounter and looking at either teams form you would say Juve are the in form team, winning the Serie A.Madrid who should have sewn up the Spanish league are throwing away games and maybe even the league. But you never know,Madrid seem to pull out all the shots for the champions league.

Real will do it. They are a champion's league team and that is what they have been put together for. Now hoepfully they can go ahead and win it.

Juve have a great chance, what with Tachinnardi, Davids and Montero back and Madrid are missing their defensive cover in Makelele. All they need then is for Del Piero to finally start pulling his weight up front.

But then Madrid do have Raul back...

Well hows about that, if somebody taught Figo how to kick a ball hard then he would have scored that penalty.

Well done Juve, cannot believe that is the same team that United beat way back. Played fantastic football and showed up the Real defence.
Crap penalty, not a lot to do with power, put it straight at the keeper and at the correct height.

Juventus were excellent last night, best I've seen them play in a long time. Of course I wanted to watch the match in my local, but the moronic sheep in there had decided to watch Celtic v Dundee instead

Oh and when are TV3 going to get rid of that moron Toshack? If I hear him called Juventus 'Jew-ventus' one more time I'm going to Old Trafford on the 28th with a sniper rifle.

Yeah i agree, they should get rid of him. He is soo boring

    Packie does the same :)

Anzwaz, Juve were fupping amazing. Nedved ran things in midifeld the way Zidane should have done. He was my man of the match for definate. Del Peiro had a good game and terrorised a poor Salgado. Figo was poor and Raul never really got into it either. A great performance from the Italian side and if they playu like this again in the final I can well see them beating the AC.

Have to feel for Nedved missing the final though. How hard must that be after such a stupid tackle

Juve are relly going to miss him in the Final. (I am sure Roy Keane knows what he feels like)

He was part of most of Juve's attacks last night, I'd say he will be Juventus's player of the year this year. He has made such a great contribution throughout the season for them and he has scored goals at crucial times for them.

I think two of the most important players for juve on the night were Tacchinardi, who closed down zidane any time he got a sniff of the ball, and Birindelli, who essentially put figo out the game. Well done to the two of them. Thuram was very impressive, but where was he when zidane was creeping off the back of Tudor for Real's goal?

Toshak does indeed say DJOOventus, but in fairness to him, he picked up Real's biggest problem of the night within about a minute of kick-off.

Obviously well done to Trezeguet, and Del Piero, who badly needed that goal to lift his confidence, and Nedved, who will be sorely missed in the final.

I just hope that Del Piero will be able to step up to the challenge and give it his all (which we haven't seen in some time), in the absence of Nedved.

Well done Juve! Its about time someone gave Real a hiding in Europe.
Although for any ABU supporters its even sweeter.

dont see what its sweeter for any abu supporter?
i know what ur getting at but it doesnt make sense.
Real beat manu once but man u have twice comprehensively beaten the possible champions.

Explain what u meant plz :p

What i meant is that Man U beat Juve comprehensively earlier in the competition, and were outclassed by Real at the Bernebau. The point is that they've beaten Juve but couldn't beat Real(overall).

Real peaked against United, I think Real United would have been the ideal final.

Lets hope the Italians put on a good show and not boring football!
