OH what a truly delightful start to the All Ireland.

    Cork trounsed by Limerick
    Armagh hammered by Monaghan
Westmeath skimming by carlow cause they cant score goals

MY only worry is Louth, the wee county looked sharp

bit of a **** up by the GAA they only had about 5000 people at croaker yesterday..

Any who Great start, this will be a great championship
I can feel it in my waters

I hope to be seeing a Cavan, Monaghan Ulster final this year. Us winning of course! The only thing is that Monaghan will probably have to go through Donegal to get into the final, thats a tough task. We'll have to go through Derry/Tyrone, which won't be easy either. But it can be done.

Well done to Limerick, they played some sensational football yesterday. Maybe I shouldn't be criticising Cavan for being knocked out of the Championship last year against Limerick after all.

Carlow should have had about seven goals yesterday. Westmeath looked poor.

Laois won well but it was against Wexford.

Louth played very well, they still need to sort out their defence though.

All in all, I think that Cavan are going to win the Sam... :D

When my father (from Carrickmacross) told me Monaghan were beating Armagh, I thought he was taking the pi$$.

    Fair play to them!

It would be great to see Dublin's big rivals knocked out early :p

The monaghan underage team are pretty good, the current under 21`s have some real quality players, around 4-5 that will be county players within the next 2 years.

Altho the current crop of Minors aren`t as strong, there are one or two decent players among them.

I done trials for the Cavan minor team this year and all I can tell ya is that we're a load of crap. The manager of the minor team picked some of the worst players at the damn thing (from his own club surprise, surprise).

Don't expect us to go too far in the minor Championship.

No... not at all, I ended up I didn't bother going because the manager was a real wanker. When you play really well he praises you non stop and when you play an average game/do your job then he ignores you. Getting up on Sunday morning at half 8 didn't suit me either. :D
