Has been fantastic this year in my opinion!
Goal of the season has to be Lamberts second against Motherwell on Wednesday night, peach of a goal

and i think ive known for years how medicore spurs are. in fact i think ive practically coined the phrase mid-table mediocraty just for my team.

still this thread is about scottish football (sic), but i guess it shows that celtic fans are just as ungracious in defeat as man utd fans.

Anyway, It does not take an eejet to realise that Ghod is a massive part of the team...

But far from a one man team, I think celtic are a 3 or 4 man team..

You have MoN, Petrov, Ghod (and maybe Sutton or Bobo on their day)

Alot of people on the celtic boards online have been complaining about Petrovs contribution this season!
However he has made a real difference in the last few games.
Looks like hes come good just in time for the Porto game, and o how well need him for that one!

sorry to dissapoint you but do you realise there are still two games left for both teams. Just because the English Premiership is finished is doesnt mean the SPL is over. As a matter of fact the SPL is far from over!

Celtic still have to play Dundee at home and Kilmarnock away and Rangers are away to Hearts and at home to Dumfermline.

All Celtic have to do to win the SPL is score more goals than rangers with a 100% record:D

oh, and joe, about those celtic fans being as bad as man utd fans. apologies. while i have no interest in scottish football, and my support of rangers is purely from a proddy point of view, im quiet happy to see celtic do well in the uefa cup.

in fact, there is no way that any supporters can be as bad as man utd supporters. i mean, look at pornapster, and how little he contributes to anything football wise. sure he probably has his bandwagon parked outside his trailer...

Ah c'mon? The folks at sky sports aren't the brightest sparks in the fusebox but they hardly told you the SPL was over when there was still two rounds to go?

Still, in fairness, that split league format does confuse things a bit. The EL had it a few years ago and it was a right pain in the arse IMHO. Glad they got rid of it ot be honest.

Correction, I have added my player of the year which was Bobo Balde. So obviously I have contributed something about football to this thread.

And I probably would have said something about Balde until you started talking about Rangers. And then continued to talk about Manchester United fans pointing out mainly myself.

Stop talking shit.

On to topic, Bobo Balde is my player of the year because he has been a rock at the back and is improving all the time. He had a very good season last season too. Larsson has been excellent again, but I think Bobo deserves it.

anyone want to caluculate how many points and games celtic have won this year because of him?

ive seen far too many 1 nil wins with him as the only scorer.

with regards the spl being over, no to be honest, sky sports news just said they were top of the league. i just didnt realise they played a few extra games. goes to show how much interest i have in scottish football to be hoenst (although, i use the term footbal very loosely
