Adamstown looks very likely to go ahead. If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, Adamstown is going to be a 10,000 house development plan adjacent to Lucan, effectively doubling the population of the area over 10 years. That's not including the unparalleled growth still occuring in the area. Lucan's roads, and the N4 between Leixlip and Chapelizod are already overwhelmed by the volume of traffic coming onto them every day.

I was going to link to an Indo article but I can't find it.

Luckily for me, I don't intend to be still in Lucan in 5 years time......

The advantage of Adamstown is the main weight of the development will be along the railway line, with a station(s) specificly being built to serve it.
