Bus stop upgrade programme

I have seen people measuring footpaths over the last few days and spoke to two of them today.

Dublin Bus and the Director of Traffic are planning a program of
improvements at bus stops, in particular to raise kerbs at the actual stops to facilitate level access (you will see this on some bus stops already), in particular for wheelchair users.

In general, bus lay-bys will be removed so that buses can pull right up to the kerb. This may be to the detriment of cyclists trying to pass the bus at the stop.

Are there any bus stops that cause particular dangers to (all) road users cyclists (I mentioned the Eveready Garage stop in Donnybrook to them)?

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions that I can pass on?
