Three in a Row

An excellent performance last night sees Celtic go back on top of the SPL by one goal.

The way they are playing at the moment makes them IMO favourites to take the title. There was a hunger there last night to not only get the three points but also the four goals that would put them top.

Petrov, Lennon and man of the match Lambert were excellent. They scored four good goals but Lamberts two were sensational. Without Sutton or Hartson, Maloney was playing up front with Larsson so all the football was played on the ground. No high balls up to the front men.

With Celtic flying high and Rangers having a wobble at the moment, it looks like Celtic are going to retain their title when only three weeks ago it looked unlikely.

Fair play to them, the game was live on Setanta, but was anyone actually watching it at the same time as the big one? :)

I watched it on Setanta. €13 but worth it.

Was a cracking game as Motherwell played better than the scoreline suggests. They had Adams sent off for a blatant elbow on Thompson and there could easily have been another one or two sent off.

The football Celtic played was excellent as they had to keep it on the deck without any big man up front.
