Missing replys after thread moved

Okay, small cry for help. I posted a thread asking about Irish sources for moleskine notebooks in Humanities (not having seen Classifieds/Wanted, my bad). Amp correctly moved the thread but the 5 or 6 replies to it then vanished :( And they had contained the names of several sources but, more fool me, I hadn't noted them down :(
Any hope of restoring those replies or are they now in bit heaven?

I can't find anything likely. If you remember any details about those posts or if anyone has any ideas about how that would have happened then I'll search again for you.

Well, I can remember one of the shops was on george's street, one was called feko or fako or something similar and one was "urban <something>". Beyond that, no ideas :(
Save posting a "Help!" thread in humanities temporarily to ask the posters to pm me the replies...

Don't do that without asking amp first, and you could ask him if those posts were there when he moved it and if so if he has any ideas what might have happened to them.

I did check with amp at the start of all this - he says he saw no replies to it when it was in Humanities (though I did, so a technical hiccup is likely) and couldn't find the problem, and he suggested I post here.

I searched the database for the word Moleskin and the only thread that had it is your one on work... so either the Mod deleted it (quite unlikely if it was just mis-categorised) or I dunno what.... very very very weird.

How do you know Amp moved the thread? I couldnt find even the first post of the thread in question (just your second attempt).

    Curiouser and curiouser said alice.

    DeVore,
    What about "moleskine"?
I know amp moved the thread because I pm'd him back and forth a bit about it.

    Edited to say:
Never mind, I got an answer from elsewhere so it matters not anymore. Now, to go buy some notebooks :)
