racer free car tweaking

i'm free of my old voodoo3 shackles, so i downloaded the latest version of racer and i'm well impressed. i've just been toying around with a few of the car.ini files, but what i'd really like to do at the moment is make my mini cooper rear-wheel-drive (no, i'm not going for realism :P). I can't figure out how to. Any ideas?

actually, i've figured that out now, with the diff output... but another question.
um... how do i start a car (if i've stalled it)?
