Planning to buy a DVD writer, for the purposes of breaking copywrite laws.

I know theres a few formats out there, but what one do use, in order to break these laws ???
Or do all dvd writers have the capability to break the law ?

    Cheers,

yes they all break the law.

    there are two formats:- DVD+RW
    DVD-RW

and thus there are DVD+R discs and DVD-R discs plus the same for rw's.

my advice is if your buying a DVD burner is to make sure that it's capable of burning both because in the not to distant future one of the formats will just fade away and one of them will become the standard.

because in the not to distant future one of the formats will just fade away and one of them will become the standard.

    This wont happen.
Both formats ,-R and +R will survive.
Its not like Betamax versus VHS .

Me mentions Blue Laser. I think this will become "the standard" when the prices drop.

For the laugh, what about +RAM thats a right good format........
