Changes to Film Four package

Apologies if this has already been discussed.

Has anybody else got an opinion on the coming change to the Film Four package, starting this Monday ? For those not in the know, Film Four will be replacing FF World, and FF Extreme, with a "new" channel, Film Four Weekly. This will show three of the most popular films every night, repeated for seven days. Thats right, three films shown for the entire week.

    Its a serious bummer.

    I'm cancelling my subscription tomorrow.

p.s. does anybody remember how much Film Four cost per month on Sky Digital, before Sky put their prices up last year. IIRC, it was around the 7.50 mark. Anybody?

I think that is absolutly KAT only showing three films a week

they might as well close it down altogether

I must say that change doesn't make a lot of sense! Waste of transponder space tbh.

as a Film 4 subscriber i am all against this move for the obvious reasons but it does give me the opportunity to see The Usual Suspects any night of the week that i feel like watching it. i will probably cancel next week anyway because i watched Film 4 Extreme quite a bit and now it is gone :(

wouldn't you know Network 2 are showing the very same film on Thursday night but with the news half way through it  another reason to stick with Film 4

valid points about VCR's, Sky+ and DVD's but my VCR is really misbehaving lately and it is one of those mono ones, i have no Sky + :( yet and i couldn't be arsed renting the DVD
