Idea for the films board

    Ok just a quick thought.

    I dont have enough time to read about all the films I'd like to on this board, as well as staying away from some of the threads for fear of spoilers (I know theres a spoiler tag but I'M SORRY I JUST CANT HELP HIGHLIGHTING THEM!).

    Ahem... Anyway! How about whenever someone replies to a thread directly related to a film (Ie thread called Donnie Darko, Scarface, Heat,etc), when they post they use the Rating system below the posting window.

    While normally this implies the rating of the thread, how about everyone uses it instead to rate the film in question?

    Eg, you read a thread about The Transformers Movie, and regardless of the quality of the thread itself, you rate the film using the option below(5 star in this case obviously).

    ...Just a thought...

    great idea, if the moderat0r agrees to this it should be made a stick...BUT it would only work for threads named EXACTLY the same as the film i.e "godfather" or "x-men 2" you know ? otherwise it would just get confusen

    Good idea. People don't really use the ratings system to rate threads anyway.

    I think getting a sub forum like the one for dhl on komplett for movies would be a good idea, and use it for marks idea. people place the exact film name in this sub forum so that people can rate. Although I think this sort of forum would require very heavy moderating to make sure it stays on track.
