Is anyone headin' to it? Christy Moore will headline the festival also featuring The Frames, Mundy, Josh Ritter, Damien Dempsey, Luka Bloom plus more acts to be announced.
    Tickets are 60euro approx.
I'm definately going since Josh Ritter is playing. He rocks!

Lisdoonvarna - f!&*@~*g kicked all kinds of ass. what a brilliant day. The day didn't disappoint in any way.

The highlights of my day had to be Mark Geary, Damien Dempsey, Josh Ritter & the Frames.

Mark Geary played such an amazing set, the atmosphere was electric during his set. Everyone was really into the music, singing along and he really got the crowd going. Breathtaking. His music is excellent and he played his bloody socks off. And if the crowd and everyone was brought to such a level by Mark along came Damien Dempsey and if i thought things couldn't get any better how wrong i was.

The crowd (me included) where even more into Damien and there was just some kind of collective energy in that tent for Mark and carried on to Damien. Again he completely brought the crowd along on a journey through his music. one of the most amazing 1 1/2 hours i've spent at one stage.

And both mark and damien looked kinda amazed at the response from everyone. Ah, i want to be back there now ;) Caught a bit of Luka after that, not much but heard his set was very good and also heard he did a great rendition of Oh dublin 4, a dublin, dublin, dublin 4.

Josh came on after Luka to finish the second stage and he was brilliant as well, i just can't put into words how good Mark, Damien and Josh where. All the cameos as well from nina, josh, glen, sinead were excellent as well.

Words just don't suffice to explain that kind of festival atmosphere and electricity.

The Frames as per usual rocked in their own particular way, if you like them you love them if you don't you think they're a bunch of tossers. I'm with the former and the set they played was definetly rocking. I did think the atmosphere was a little less electric than the second stage but thats prob just because its open air. Or possibly could have been affected by the amount of alcohol and smoke consumed by that stage by myself.

Also Christy, David Kitt, Mundy etc. where all very good as well but they just didn't affect me the above did.

Great day, great music, great people, great festival, absolutely loved it.
