EU Import Duty on Print Materials

Does anyone know the Irish/UK import duty on print materials is? This is importing from a non-EU country, so I presume UK/Irish VAT also has to be paid? Or where I could find that information? I’ve searched Google without, without success. Jeremiah

Depends on what the printed matter is.

ie books are zero rated
magazines are 21% vat.

usually revenue.ie is helpful
