out of date passport...

It’s the same old story of an out of date passport…

Any who, I *NEED* my passport in less then 10 workings days (the guarantee time for Passport Express),

I would have it sent off today but the Garda who was signing my forms was delayed on the phone until the post office closed.

I will be in Dublin in the next few days, so would it be best to go to the Passport Office (I know - for a long wait) OR to send it by Passport Express with a letter nicely explaining how in I kind of need it before 10 working days?

I hadda get mine signed in the garda station in town and the guys were telling me that the wait is over 10 days even with PP Express.
Some problem in the Dublin end.

Got mine done in one day in February.

Do NOT go to the passport office anywhere near lunchtime! Better off going in about 3pm.

    Thanks everyone.

Booking tickets! Now that’s a good idea.

When I sent mine off with the passport express, I needed it within 12 days, I sent it by the passport express. I got it back in 6/7 days, ****ting it that it would come on time though :)
But I would recamend going to the passport office, take the day off work and then finish the day off with wanering round dublin :) its not really bad.. no more than 2 hours que.. though it wouldn't even be 30mins if you get the right time.. 3pm sounds fine though ;)

I'm in Dublin tonight and will visit the passport office with a print out print out of my ticket. Any how I really want to be more drunk then I am, it's hard to type so I will stop.
