    Hi y'all

We've been playing around with some homemade helical antennae to boost an
802.11b signal in order to connect to our work network. We're now moving to
ADSL and we want to offload our kit. We have 2 antennae (the Jason Hecker
    design
    http://www.wireless.org.au/~jhecker/helix/index.html
), two pigtail cables suitable for connecting to PCMCIA cards and a PCI
    PCMCIA card reader.

Anyone interested? They work fine and have a theoretical 18.5Db gain (ie
nearly 100 times amplification across a 30 degree aperature).

    ----

    Tony
