advantage to dial up

    I've just discovered the most stupid advantage to not having broadband. On dial up when you type something wrong into a search engine, you have enough time befor the page changes to go pack and change it and hit enter again.

    Yeah, I've found that too. The big BIG advantage with dialup is that when you're downloading a small patch you can make and drink a whole cup of tea in the time it takes. With a full OS service pack from microsoft you've time to go to the pub, go clubbing, get laid and get a taxi home the next morning in time to turn off your connection. Ah, the advantages.
