Greece alone (sob)

    OK, having just split up the gf (long story - don't ask), my planned romantic trip to Santorini three weeks from now is in tatters.

    No point in wasting the flight tickets which will take me to Athens (two nights booked in the Attalos) and from then on Greece is my oyster - so to speak. I've already travelled extensively in Greece and just can't decide where to go. I'll be staying for two weeks and planning to visit at least two islands. Bearing in mind that I'm in my thirties and, although I don't mind spending a night or two in Ios, don't want to spend my time out of my head in dance bars. I had thought about the Ionians but they're quite far from Athens, then again I could try to the old favourites - Paros, Naxos, Sifnos.

    What does everyone else suggest? Looking for places/hotels/pensions/beaches/taverns that aren't too noisy/not too quiet where I might meet similar-minded people and maybe a bit of romance :)

    And, before someone says it, you can't have the spare ticket:rolleyes:
