A Scriptwritting program

I am looking for a program which would be used for writting scripts i.e it gives you the proper(expected) setup and layout for a script.

an average script(for a film) is apparently supposed to be about 120pages long(about a minute per page) but without one of these programs it's impossible to know how correct a lenght yours is as you might be using to small a text in word or because of the differing layout it may mean less fit's onto the page of a scriptwritter program thus making your play(in word) seem far too short.

if anybody could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated

Final Draft is the Photoshop of script writing programs. Comes with a price tag to match though.

The one I have been using lately is Magic Script which is a Microsoft Word macro. This does the job for me - formatting, dialogue indentations and character cues etc.

    I got it here

This site has alot of the names of programs that you can buy with downladable samples. But IMO the macros are better simply because they are so easy to use and they won't take up too much space.

There are plenty more templates out there two plus there is plenty of software packages but they tend to be costly.
