I have a problem with my HardDrive, its an IBM Deskstar 40 gig 7200rpm.

Basically once it gets full to 13 gigs it wont read or write anymore and it makes a ugly noise.

Anyway someone was telling me to do a low level format and it might fix it problem, could anyone giev me some info on this and how I could possibly do it :)
