I want to split the cable from our roof top aerial into 4 connections for different TV's but I'm wondering, would splitting the cable reduce the quality? And if so by how much?
At the moment the quality from it is great but I would hope it would stay that way.

yes probably - it will weaken the signal. But if its a co-axial cable feed you can just get a standard tv signal booster and that should pick it right back up again.

you'll need a power source to run it off.
