    Yes it is possible. The first Mario was released as a Playchoice arcade in the early 80's along with Mario Golf. Both are supported by MAME.If it's Mario Allstars your after then your stuck with ZSNES And the like for now.

    I'd check your rom sets or download them again(they're only small:) ) as all the playchoice games run under MAME without problems. What error message are you getting?

    As far as i can remember a playchoice10 bios is required. cant check as i deleted the mame setup on my sis computer last week.

    Yup the bios is about 16k and is needed for all of the playchoice games. Apologies but i assumed djste18 downloaded the bios:) If not I'm guessing thats your problem.

    I had the bios but I didn't realise that 0 was the Enter button in which to start the game but tis all sorted now.

    /Goes to play all the old mario games.

    Not as good as the Nes versions but I blame MAME for that.

    There are two versions of Super Mario Bros. There was a Playchoice one and a stand alone arcade one that came out earlier. They used have it in my local kebab house along with Rolling Thunder 2 and Vandyke.
