saw it last night, what a beautiful piece of film.....

glad to see clooney has left far behind his er days and become a top class director, the ****in shots and cuts were beautiful, everyone. it takes a good director to keep that originality going for a film this length.

and the lead guy, what an amazing actor, no idea who he is, never seen him before either, but excellent all the same. and drew barrimore, julia roberts and george clooney. excellent cast.

    9/10 methinks :)

His name is Sam Rockwell, two parts of his that you might be familiar with were in The Heist and The Green Mile (he played Billy The Kid).

I've only seen the trailer so far- really want to see it though!!
Sam rockwell was in a class B-movie with Joe Mantenega a few tears back called JERRY AND TOM, about a couple of hitmen in a job gone wrong kind of thing. It's in xtravision, at least on video!

saw confessions of a dangerous mind on saturday night. Really enjoyed it. one of the best films so far this year. acting was top notch and the direction was just beautiful. I really want to read the book it was based on. it sounds like such a fascinating story.

    i'd defo give it 9 / 10.

Wow.. that was pretty fantastic. Very sophisticated and it moved along at a blistering pace. I must go see it again next weekend because I'm sure I missed alot of details.

Just got back from it and was v impressed. Great directorial debut from Clooney and Rockwell was sooo good with a nice line in 70's pimp wear which is always a bonus!
Also anything with Rutger Hauer gets my vote!!Legend:D

I really enjoyed it too. I thought it started dragging just a teensy bit towards the end, but it was still a great movie. Rockwell was fantastic, Clooney had all the best lines ("You're 31. Jesus Christ was dead and back again by the time he was 32. You better get crackin'."), and the poisoning scene was genius. :)

I'd definitely like to see it again....

I can't wait to see it, but unfortunately I must pander to the whim of a beautiful woman, and she does not want to see it until Wednesday.
    :(

    Yes, highly recommended.
    I endorse this film.:D

Lot's of laughs, great acting, and a very visually pleasing experience...

I loved that scene in the dating show, where the female contestant chose the fat nerdy guy, over Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.. Lots of cameos, and a very interesting role for Julia Roberts..

Sam Rockwell is brilliant, but I'm still put off by him, because of his fantastic role in the Green mile... I can still hear him laughing..

    Highly entertaining...

Oh, and it's great to see The Hitcher back on our screens again...

goddam it, i really wanna see it again.

lol, forgot about the brad pitt bit :) loved the clothes aswell, esp the hat he wore in germany. "wheres the weirdest place uve ever had sex" :D

only downside: alot-a-shots of his ass.

[just looked sam rockwell up on imdb, he was in teenage mutant hero turtles as "head thug", my respect for him has gone up 100 points :)]
