Puppies

I would like to hear your opinion, I have aa 14 yr old daughter who wants a puppy for her birthday, I am generally good with animals, but my wife says there is no chance we are getting a puppy, she wants a cat. I have to do my best to keep everyone happy , but I dont know what to do. I have considered running away...

just a thought but how about you make a cat/dog hi-bread. lots of fun for the hole family, you can whach it try to kill its self

Dogs are better, but I was always fond of rabbits myself, little cute fluffy ones.

get a guinea pig or two in a hutch and make them a run in the garden

Yea they taste like chicken.

Tell them they can have what they want but your going to have to chop them in half... no wait how does that go again?

Get both!

If you get them young they grow up well together (though the cat is usually the boss).

OR:

Get a Siamese hairless cat and tell your daughter it's a chiwawa (ok, bad spelling).

OR:
Get a Pomeranian and tell your wife it's a cat learning a foreign language. (I *HATE* pomeranians!!! They're not dogs! They're fur with bad attitudes and annoying yaps..)

But remember:

A pet is not just for a day. It'll last up to six months in the freezer.
