Man, check this out. This is classic stuff. These guys actually held fake boyband auditions in Dublin and took the piss out of all the applicants and filmed the whole thing.....

And this has exactly what to do with rock/metal?

I think this will be better appreciated in After Hours, tbh.

Jaysus, sorry I didn't see the sign that said "No fun allowed"

Usually people who like "Rock / Metal" generally don't like boybands. I thought they would find it amusing. Sorry, I didn't know you were such a nark.

If you're going to try and be a smartass, maybe you should learn how to spell "Houston". Otherwise you'll just make a fool of yourself.

Houston: : Space Centre, Houston, Texas

    Heuston: : Train Station, Dublin.

Therefore, 'Heuston, We have a muppet' is more in relation to trains than a reference to the Apollo 13 space flight.

    Still valid.

Not taking sides, just saying, is all.

Yeah, but if he WAS ACTUALLY referring to trains, then he's still a gobsh*te. Just because "Heuston" is a word, doesn't make sense of what he said.
He was trying to be a smartass, he got it wrong, and ended up looking like a fool.
    Muppet?

Sorry to halt your little tirade, but THIS is my opinion...........

IMHO some constructive criticism on the site. Design etc is good.
idea for the boybands thing was legendary, haven't seen it yet so i can't comment on the implementation. I'll wait until I go into college so i can hog their bandwidth for that.

The prank calls were dismal i all honesty. maybe you could try putting ads in the herald or buy and sell looking for staff and then take the piss out of them?

    What about this thread

oh please, stfu ! that thread was a non runner from the start.

as Gordon said : I just realised that this game sux!

I assume AW was gong to let it run because if properly done it could have been a nice thread on musical instruments, so its a valid RM thread.

Your link, however, has nothing at all to do with music. Its core is LET LAUGH AT THE LOSERS. Granted it is funny, and I thank you for the link, but why did you get all defensive about the board change. He didnt attack you personally, he gave his opinion and he moved the thread.

You responded with a personal attack (nark) which opened the gates for AW and all his zombie followers (inc me) to both defend AW and attack you.

Lets look at other nice words you used :

    smartass
    gobsh!te
    fool

Constant pointing out of spelling mistakes is a no-no on boards. You will find that it grates even the most recent addition to boards.ie, and is listed frequently on the WHAT DO YOU HATE MOST ABOUT BOARDS (also on this board)

The COMIC STORE GUY remark I would deem a compliment. the CSG is an EXPERT in his chosen field, respected by his peers, a knowledge base for all things his interest. Id love to be a CSG in Mathematics, cos i tend to to badly in em....

Others may have a diff view on a CSG, but thats up to them.

Bringing what the guy looks like has no bearing on what "respect" he will get online. The form of "respect" you imagine on an online forum is not I hope the form I would imagine in the real world. I mean most of use dont even know the other posters that well to "respect" them.
Although I would guess that you mean the "street" version of respect (said in Ali G mode), as no doubt you have begun to learn it after

    Whats a "vank"?
    Sorry, I don't speak "street".

Tbh, I think AW looks great. Those eyes are the man of greatness, and what other man could drink Windowline with a strange looking fish in it ? NOW THATS REZZPEK

In closing, I would like to commit my body to AW, and my foot up your arse. Maybe then I will find peace.
