What the hell is happening, stupid little polls everywhere, A/S/L, whats your eye color etc, it's gonna turn into personal ads or #teenchat soon, I think something should be done, as it's quite obvious that people are posting these polls to get the most responses, and people are posting in them to get more posts!

But seriously after hour has always been a sort of "Other" board. I mean monty has one of the hardest job monitoring the after hours and by himself as well I mean wtf ?

I got a fairly clear solution just ban anyone who starts a thread with a poll asking a personal question and delete their thread.

Theres a difference between having a couple of silly polls every now and then, and having the whole MB full of 'em.

If you're gonna post a poll, at least make it an interesting one ffs.

Relax it's just that time of year again. These people aren't breaking the rules and a lot of the posters to these threads are by newbies so maybe they just want to get to know each other. It'll probably just calm down by itself in a while.

And lets face it, none of the threads are even pretending to be serious, you know what you're going to get by just looking at the title so if you don't like it then just don't click the link.

And how is the quality of thread Monty's job? He just kills off what other mods would kill off. Badness and threads that are heading in that direction.

Im sure other people like myself who may not take part a poll thread because we also don’t like them but have that thing call free will which allows us to ignore them..... would no doubt be very interested to see what quality topics you all come up with.

[edit- and I think monty should give you all 48 hours to start one for putting him in what could be an awkward position... or ban you all for a few weeks.....just to make it interesting]

I'm not putting monty on the spot, telling him what to do. I'm just venting my frustration at trolls (and yes they are trolls) posting crap for the sake of it.

The next Poll starter of a spammy poll gets a 1 month ban, the next one after that gets a 2 month ban, and so fourth.


The rest of you may be able to ignore those polls but I have to read every response, and its not somthing that I care to do.
