My only piece of advice to you is GET OFF THE MAINLAND as soon as you possibly can.

Suva and Nadi are both inutterably grim. The outlying islands are kinda pretty.

Fija also had the biggest cockroaches I've ever seen (and I've been to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam - nothing compares to these brutes).
