    Except for your bill.
    Did your line disconnect and reconect to the new service?
    Can you still use the same modem?
    I wanna downgrade but I'm worried it might mess up my connection.

    Everything stays the Same ie modem But rental will come down but the contention ratio will go up.

    There is no downtime just billing changes
