    Leicester 7 20 Munster

Fantastic game, okay the first half was all defence and dodgy kicking but the Munster grit was er, sparkling.

The second half saw the game finally open up as the home side scored a try/conversion. Then Munster pounced back with two great touch downs, both converted. Extra-time was 9 mins! I did'nt think I could last them all. :D

Why G'wan O'Gara? 'Cos he was at the centre of just about every move that ended with points.

    Roll on Toulouse.

    Mike.

Excellent performance - fantastic victory. Roll on Toulouse indeed!

Much pointing and laughing at Sky Sports who were putting the semi-final fixtures up on their little scrolly bar already saying it was Leicester Vs. Toulouse at the end of April ;)

    G'wan Munster! Kick ahead Munster!

Hard fought win but I cringe at the fact the we have to go to France. Toulouse are a fantastic team. Hopefully a Leinster v Munster final?

Munster won't fear anyone. If they had to go away to play the French national side it wouldn't bother them.

    G'wan Munster!

What a game that was yesterday? It's hard to be a neutral and not support Munster. What a team. What else can I say, but revenge is sweet.

Martin Johnson got pushed around by Donncha O'Callaghan, and Paul O'Connell did the same to his opposite number.

But, what about O'Gara and Stringer? What a pair? Words can't do them justice. And a try each to crown it all. Pure magic.

I hope Munster reach the final - it will be awesome if they do.

Not to worry mate!! They said Leicster were unbeatable. They said their ground was a fortress. Munster came and conquered!

O'Gara was excellent but Big Jim Williams was a 1 man tackling machine in fact some of the tackles put in by munster (and at times leicester) were unreal ... good to see Rob Henderson play well again too ...

G'wan the all irish final :)

Highlight was the very end for me in the 9th minute of overtime we had a maul moving toward their line.

Stringer is guiding it and gives Martin Johnson two slaps on the back of the head and ducks away. Johnson then reared up and hit Jim Williams.

The linesman saw the latter, and while Johnson was raging as the ref warned him, you just see Stringer walking by in camera shot with a massive grin laughing at it.

Could only have been better if it had been Back.

Munster were superb. Great tackling and some solid tries. O'Gara more than compensated for poor early place kicking.

That said, Austin Healy was utterly pathetic in many areas of the game and the Leicester handling was very poor, ferocious amount of crucial knock-ons.

I was wondering if anyone else saw that? That was just class. Couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow. Poor old Johnson, looked like a frightened bunny in yesterdays game :D

*Does a funky little victory dance*

Great performance, did you see the whack Healy got??? :D Had to hurt!! Johnson again showed his great sportmanship

There were some Munster fans in the crowd with banners saying payback time for BACK and a big hand drawn on it!! Class!!

All round great performance, pity Geordan Murphy was on the opposite side, does anyone reckon we could kidnap him???

Murphy was one of the few leceister players who played well - he is class at taking the ball in the air and returning it to keep possesion.... I'd say he was disappointed but secretly happy munster went through :ninja: (first time used)

yea ROG was class y'trday, henderson smacking healey was delightful, and that a$*ehole Johnson getting bullied was a bit of pay back for a fortnight ago, felt more personal then the six nations(and i'm a leinster man) speaking of which just as well it wasn't lein vs Leic cos Lein were crap on sat, I was there andwas struck by a poor atmosphere given how many were there...
Anyhting to do how many of those supporters must have been virgin leinster man?

Got back from Leicester at 11.00 last night. Absolutely knackered but worth it. Great weekend and great performance.

OConnell and OCallaghan were superb and totally outplayed the English second row. Eddie OSullivan has found his world cup second row.

Also Hendo was brilliant. Best game since his hat-trick in Rome.

All fifteen were excellent and had Leicester rattled from the first minute till the 90th. Great to see Johnson, Healey and Tierney have stinkers.

What was the athmosphere like Bucks? From watching it on the telly it seemed electric.
And the Leicester seemed decent enough, was there any crack with them?

Wow, it must have been great to be there.

The athmosphere was fantastic. Everyone there agreed it was actually better than Thomond Park when we beat Gloucester.

    Only just though.

Leicester fans were excellent and very gracious in defeat and there was a great athmosphere in the bars afterwards.
