wirless with rh9

    hi fellas,
    i got redhat9 today and i'm just wondering is it hard to get wirless working with it. its recognising the pcmcia slots alright(my last version didn't) so am i wrong in thinking that i just need to find drivers??
    its a wl110 compaq wifi card.

    try
    modprobe orinoco_cs

    that should hopefully autodetect your card and load the necessary modules.

    Then you can use iwconfig (like ifconfig for wireless) to change any
    settings you need.

    I've no experience with RH9, but it should be the same as in other linux distros.

    Oh, and have a look at /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opt, if you match one of the sections to your cards mac address, it'll auto load the necessary modules for you in future,
