Well the team is in top form this year. If on form alone Leinster should win this. Just wondering what effects the six nations will have on he players though. Shane Horgan is still doubtfull for the game though. He'd be a nice inclusion if he made it

Leinster should win on Saturday but I dont know about winning it out. They certainly have the handiest draw but there are bigger and better packs around.

Im off to Leicester on Friday hoping for Mission Impossible 2. It would be great to beat them on their own ground.

Looking forward to the match on Saturday. I'm a neutral so I'll be cheering for Leinster ;) Though I've nothing against Biarritz, who I understand play a totally different rugby style to that of Leinster.

But I would worry about Leinster - I fear that they might not be up for the match. And thing may then get sticky for a while. However, they should pull through this one in the end.

Also, I got a ticket no problem for this match. They say it has been sold out - I doubt that though, I'd say that there will be plenty of elbow room there on Saturday.

They've been advertising it as sold out for ages, but they opened a stand out here in UCD for the week and you could name where you wanted to sit... so not sold out but there should be enough us there to roar them to victory :)e

Hickie, Byrne and Gleeson added to Leinster injury list. Story here.

Didn't really enjoy the match on Saturday. Lansdowne Road was packed and there was no atmosphere!!!

    NONE!

99.9999% of the people there were there for Leinster but they barely cheered louder that the 300 or so Biarritz fans

Leinster need to do something about their half-backs. O'Meara's kicking, or lack of it, was much below par. Leinster have great forwards and backs but nothing in the middle. If they are to be in Lansdowne Road for the final, they'll have to find someone FAST.

I agree there about the lack of half backs. O'Meara did well from the spot but he barely kicked from play at all. He kept running the ball. Maybe that's whythe game wasn't as exciting as the Munster game. Still though I reckon they can make it to the final and with Horgan and Corrigan back for the semi's I'm feeling ever more confidant.

Didn't think the atmosphere at Lansdowne was that bad, but I was on the East terrace underneath the (very vocal) french, so we got in to it - but then we always do.:D

thought the game was faily average, Leinsters lack of recent practice together was clear. O'Meara's kicking very poor. But the final score didn't reflect their dominance of the game.

i really couln't belive the amount of extra time that Leinster played attempting to get a final try, rather than hoofing the ball out to end the game. Something that almost cost them dear.

BTW tickets are on sale for the semi-final game Sunday week inn Lansdowne as of this morning.

I was just above you in the lower east stand and right beside the Bairritz supporters who were very vocal - fair play to them.

Many of to people sitting around me didn't know much about the game (though I would say I don't know that much either but I know enough to get by). I heard one fella say '...which is the Irish side?' I don't know if he got an answer.
But the shouts from those who did know the game were WAKE UP LEINSTER!!!

And another thing, Brian O'Driscoll shouldn't be captain imo. He's too quite - not once did you hear him encouraging his team. What do you think?

IMO a rugby captain should always be a forward as they know how to get others psyched up before a match and encourage the team during the game.
