    Thinking of going to Luxor for a week.

    Anyone have any advise or requirements when travelling to Egypt ? Any personal experience with Luxor ?

    We went to Egypt on a 3 day cruise from Cyprus. It was really interesting to see the pyramids and all the culture.

    Just be careful of the people begging and trying to sell you things. They will put something in your hand telling you it's a present but then expect you to pay for it or buy something else from them. At the tourist spots they hassle you and hassle you and don't take no for an answer.

    Try to stay indoors at peak times as it gets really really hot, especially if you're in one of the many museums with NO AIRCON....
