The graphics card doesn't really come into it. You've got enough RAM. The processor might be a tiny bit slow to run some of the most modern games but it'll probably suffice.

The problem with MAME is the PC spec you need to run games is going up all the time in the new versions. Midway games like Mortal Kombat got a more accurate sound emulation lately and the spec to get it running jumped immensely.

Absolutely! The last version of MAME I could actually play Mortal kombat on was 0.61. with my old spec. When I say play I mean without sound;) On the increasing spec issue, I think Disco Stu may have mentioned before alot of emulators are becoming dog slow as they introduce gfx card support and fancy filters.(WinUAE being a prime example) You just have to look at HLE compared to NEMU's requirements..madness i tells yeh:ninja:

American's can get top spec PC's dirt cheap so they can afford to say that accurate emulation is everything and speed concessions have to be made I suppose.

Those filters are a load of rubbish though. While I approve of them on 3d emulation (I'd like to play Datona with better draw distance and AA one day) all that scanline **** in 2d games is just gimmicky.
