As some of you main remember i had to replace the monitor lead on my 19" Gericom. well it didn't work, and think its time i bring the monitor to a repair place.

The cable was sealed to the back of the monitor and would like it replaced with a female port so i can easily replace the cable in future should i need to.

Anyway since i've never had to bring a pc related problem to a 'specialist' and i'm wary of them, lots of chancers around, i'm looking for recomindations.

    So any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Alo.

TBH I dont know if its a job that a PC "tech" should do.

monitors are a science all of their own.

noticed the website for karting, you might like mine:

    Gideon,

You might try these guys. They had a minimum charge, but it's a long time since I dealt with them. You could give them a call first.
