Show some respect to the legacy of the simpsons steve, i'm not saying either is better but a lot of the funniest moments from family guy are straight forward rip-offs family guy wouldn't be the same without the inflluence of the simpsons. I think the simpsons are looked on as pre dictable because you've been watching the same episodes for years and you can't watch it over and over like you can with family guy. Family guy uses shock value a lot better what used to be regarded as brilliant by homer a few years ago is boring now.

thats like saying that Southpark would not be the same without dumba$$ americans. Obviosly ppl r infuenced by the actons of others or the mear existance but there is nothing one can do about that.

not neccesarily, the simpsons is an established classic and even if the last few seasons have kinda sucked in comparison to family guy, there have been some brilliant episodes.

I would pick family guy, but only because I have gotten sick of the simpsons at this stage, but I still recognise it's impact on the world and television..
