you must ring up the 1800 512128 number.

when under PRESSURE they will give you a list of upgraded exchanges.....you correctly said that Eircom have removed the list from their ADSL.ie site

It appears that Eircom do not wish to publish coverage maps because of the fact that ADSL is available across 10% of the land area of Ireland. It looks kinda silly having all these little speckles on a map you see. On the other hand, Eircom also refuse to publish their wireless ADSL coverage map. It seems Comreg cannot make them do so either as it is not mandated in the licence.

    A sorry situation indeed.

Wireless ADSL at 384k is available to about 20-25% of the land area of the state but the ADSL sales droids on 1800 512128 are NOT allowed to sell it.......costs too much for Eircom. Search for posts in March this year containing the terms ' FWPMA ' and ' Narrowband ' together.

If you do not pressure them they will bang on about account number and line and will not tell you if the exchange is upgraded or will be by end June. They have no data beyond end June.

The Supervisor is Emily if you have a problem with the droid.
