    ....FLOPPY

now what did you think I meant?

anways...the floppy drive isn't working only in the past two weeks since I put in a new PSU.

XP recognises the drive and there is no probs reported.

When I put in a disk and access it..."Please insert disk into drive A"

yes...there is a power cable connected to it.

Make sure the floppy cable is connected with the ( twist ) at the floppy drive end.Is the floppy drive light allways on ? - if so thats your prob / just reverse the cable.

It happened me when I got a new CPU. Not detected at all. I just left it presumed it was knackered and I have survived without it ever since.
